Help Our IAFF Members in Tennessee and Mississippii |
IIAFF members in Tennessee and Mississippi have been working around the clock in response to the severe flooding in the region, performing rescues and assisting wherever needed in their communities. Torrential rain in Tennessee has caused heavy flooding throughout the state, killing more than 30 people. Floods have also destroyed roads and shutdown highways, making transportation in the area difficult. To assist your brothers and sisters in need immediately, IAFF members can contribute to the IAFF Disaster Relief Fund, which provides assistance to IAFF members in the United States and Canada who suffer financial hardship as the result of a federally declared disaster area or in cases of natural or man-made disasters. Additional information regarding how to help in these efforts will be posted as it becomes available. |
